Sure Odyssey is one of the best car rental company. Technically the cars are perfect and rates are competitive.
Nicole and Heinz manage the problems with effiency and professonalissm
For sure, see you again for our next trip in Namibia probably in march or april 2012

We are "old" visitors of Namibia (1st trip in1987),by our experience Odyssey is by far the best car rental company, technically the cars , tent equipment etc.....are perfect ,their rates are competitive.
But mainly they manage to smooth up all the problems (our trip was delayed by the volcano's ash cloud, the answer was :No Problem,don't worry)
Incidentally they are probably the only ones to propose an insurance covering windshield and tyres (quite useful in Namibia)
So thank you Nicole and Heinz for your gentleness ,your effiency and professonalissm

I'm planning a visit to Namibia by July 2010. Is it possible to hire a car at Mpacha Apt(Katima Mulillo) and drop it back in Windhoek, to weeks later. How much would the extra charges be??

Two years ago my wife and I decided to visit Namibia from Canada for our first time. We literally contacted every 4x4 rental operation in Namibia before choosing your company for our 3 week trip. The reason we chose your company is not because of your prices, which are competitive in relation to the market, but because of the service! Of all the companies we contacted, yours was by far the most prompt, courteous, patient and helpful regarding all the "dumb" tourist questions I was asking, to explaining your rental agreements to buying localized maps for us. Heinz and Nicole were FANTASTIC and should be commended on this account! They very much helped make our visit one of the best holidays we've ever had!
Thank you sooo much! Guide books can only take you so far when planning trips. Being able to get sound advice from "locals" is indispensable!
